Position Overview
Power Your Future with Qualus as a Business Intelligence Specialist in our Field Engineering Department. The Business Intelligence Specialist will gather, analyze, and compile data required by various customers. Transforming data correctly with the ability to extract relevant information helping organizations in making sense of the vast volumes of data they possess is key.
Responsibilities
- Utilize Power Automate, Power Apps, and Smartsheet to streamline business processes, automate tasks, and enhance operational efficiency
- Write maintenance documentation of programs and perform data maintenance activities
- Discussing with management and relevant stakeholders to define goals/requirements
- Gathers data/business intelligence from a variety of sources
- Researching, developing and implementing data-gathering method
- Gathering, cleansing, modeling, and transformation of data
- Ability to create customized calculations and measure
- Summarizes data for review by executives, managers, clients, and stakeholders
- Collaborating with coworkers and management to implement process improvements to support data integrity
- Evaluate the effectiveness of generated output
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Proficient in Power Bi and Python. Smartsheet experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong reporting skills to present insights concisely
- Able to work both alone to analyze findings as well as a team
- Ability to communicate findings with management
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Ability to collect and compile relevant data
- Organized with great attention to detail
- Excellent ability to analyze information and think systematically
- Ability to handle databases and understand technology-driven business intelligence tools
- Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Business, Management, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or Computer and Information Science required
