Job Description:
The Senior Director of Resource Management is a high-impact leadership role focused on partnering with client-facing service lines to enhance and optimize resource planning and management. This individual will oversee the Resource Management function of Global Workforce Management, ensuring effective workforce utilization, strategic deployment of talent, development and management of the resource deployment team and collaboration with business leaders to align resourcing with demand. With the firm experiencing rapid growth and undergoing dynamic transformational initiatives, this leader must be adept at driving change, building trust, and enforcing standardized processes while working closely with leadership to embed Resource Management as a critical function in business operations.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Business Integration
Strengthen Resource Management as a trusted business partner to service line leadership, ensuring alignment between resource deployment and client engagement needs.
Lead scalability efforts as the firm continues to expand, ensuring Resource Management processes and structures can support increased scale of operations.
Partner closely with internal departments such as Talent Acquisition and Finance to align hiring strategies with business demand and workforce forecasts.
Collaborate closely with the Director of Workforce Planning & Operations to ensure service-line Resource Management teams effectively leverage new tools, system integrations, and process changes to optimize workforce planning and deployment.
Resource Planning, Optimization, & Compliance
Drive adoption and compliance with firmwide Resource Management processes within service lines, ensuring consistency, transparency, and efficiency in resource deployment.
Assist in the development and enforcement of utilization targets, ensuring service lines adhere to structured Resource Management practices rather than ad-hoc resourcing.
Drive cross-service line collaboration and resource-sharing, breaking down historical silos and increasing flexibility in workforce deployment.
Leverage reporting insights from the Workforce Planning & Management Operations team to assess staffing trends, utilization risks, and workforce capacity, ensuring informed decision-mak
