Your Opportunity:
Reporting into The Director of Global IT Infrastructure, Data & technology, as Global Business Intelligence Manager, you will help identifying Business Intelligence, reporting and data analysis needs, support the business for an effective access to information through new visual, self-service oriented data exploration approaches. Key for this role is the attitude to develop an in-depth understanding of business processes, along with a solid technical background on leading BI solutions and practices.
Your Contribution:
Lead a team of BI Analysts;
Conduct analysis of functional business processes and functional business requirements;
Design of dimensional information models at conceptual and logical level, striving to maximize information availability e.g. going beyond what’s is strictly collected as a requirement;
Drive portion of projects and subprojects in autonomy, coordinating development teams and technical consultants as required, and checking requirements with the business;
Execute technical testing of BI artifacts – this can be both for front end artifacts (reports, universes) or back end (database artifacts, e.g. physical data models);
Organize and conduct functional tests with key users;
Organize and conduct training and change management, encouraging the adoption of new BI solutions;
Participate to the resolution of incidents by operating on the service desk platform and collaborating with the Service team, ensuring tasks are properly addressed and closed;
Regularly align and partner with other Data referents across the other brands of the group to assess potential synergies for the medium / long term;
Review and assess the current Data architecture to optimize it for the future;
Be up to date on the Data Applications Landscape and provide advisory on new analytics tools, data – data management solutions and practices.
Your Skills:
At least 5 / 7 years’ experience on Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence projects, preferably in a consulting
