Description
Our client, a public sector organization located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, is seeking a Senior Server Specialist for a 1-year contract employment opportunity. Senior Server Specialist candidates will have experience working with IT infrastructure, specifically servers, storage, and networks. Additionally, experience with Microsoft O365 administration is required.
Responsibilities
- Microsoft O365 administration
- VMware vSphere administration
- AD / GPO administration
- Enterprise backup administration
- Windows & Linux operating system administration
- Microsoft product patching
- Server firmware patching
Required Experience and Skills
- Completion of a recognized degree or diploma program in an IT related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience.
- Must have 6+ years’ experience working with IT Infrastructure, with a solid understanding of servers, storage, and networks.
- Must have 3+ years’ experience with Microsoft O365 administration.
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in an IT support and service delivery role supporting enterprise class systems and applications.
- Must have Windows based computer with standard Windows 10 applications.
- Must possess own communication device.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada.
