Job Description
As a Workday Report Writer with OMES you will enjoy:

This is an on-site position located in Oklahoma City, OK.
Position Summary
The Workday Report Writer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing Workday reports and analytics that support strategic decision-making across Human Resources and business operations. This role transforms complex data into clear, actionable insights by leveraging Workday’s reporting tools—including Advanced, Matrix, Composite, and Prism Analytics—while ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Performs analyses, development, and evaluation of data mining in a data warehouse environment, which includes data design, database architecture, metadata and repository creation.
Reviews and validates data loaded into the data warehouse for accuracy and overall quality.
Interacts with user community to produce reporting requirements.
Provides technical consulting to users of the various data warehouses and advises users on conflicts and inappropriate data usage.
Prototypes solutions, prepares test scripts, and conducts tests.
Responsible for data replication, extraction, loading, cleansing, and data modeling for data warehouses.
Maintains knowledge of software tools, languages, scripts, and shells that effectively support the data warehouse environment in different operating system environments.
Possesses working knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) and data warehouse front-end tools.
Has an extensive knowledge of data warehouse/data mart, data quality and master data management concepts.
Requires technical and business knowledge in multiple disciplines/processes.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
This position works in a comfortable office setting with a computer for a large percentage of the workday. The noise level in the work environment is usually mild. Occasional travel may be required.
Minimum Qualifications
Requirements include:
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Data Management, Math, Statistics, or a related field and 2 years of experience, or
An associate’s degree or certificate in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Data Management, Math, Statistics, or a related field and four years of experience in a related field, or
An equivalent combination of experience and education.
Preference will be given to candidates who possess
Experience in Workday
Proven expertise in Workday modules such as HCM, Payroll, or Financials
Experience with Workday integration tools (Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors)
Knowledge of agile development methodologies is a plus
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
