About the role

As a Sr. Principal Strategy Associate on the Strategic Operations team, you will lead independent research and synthesis across markets, customer segments, and competitive dynamics. You’ll identify where Oracle Health can differentiate and win, and bring timely, relevant, and strategic insight to the people making decisions across the business.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of healthcare-industry experience in strategy, market research, consulting, or product marketing. MBA preferred
  • Deep familiarity with the U.S. healthcare provider market and/or healthcare technology ecosystem
  • Experience conducting building business opportunities, market sizing, competitive analysis, 
  • Strong ability to synthesize data, structure ambiguity, and generate clear, actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including comfort with executive audiences
  • Proven ability to operate independently, juggle multiple workstreams, and deliver under tight timelines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in or with a healthcare consulting/advisory firm, large health system, healthcare SaaS company
  • Familiarity with regulatory dynamics in healthcare
  • Familiarity with market intelligence vendors, strategies, and research resources
  • Strong Excel/Sheets and PowerPoint/Slides skills
  • Prior exposure to early-stage product strategy, internal investment governance, or concept evaluation

In this role, you’ll operate both as a forward-looking strategist and a responsive research partner — proactively identifying opportunities for innovation, while also providing on-demand insight to support specific product, pricing, and go-to-market needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead structured research on market trends, industry dynamics, and regulatory shifts shaping the healthcare technology market
  • Track and assess key competitors — including product features, pricing/packaging strategies, go-to-market motion, and market share
  • Partner with product and commercial teams to provide market sizing, opportunity assessments, and investment recommendations
  • Own the creation of internal strategy deliverables, such as:
    • Market briefs and landscape reports
    • Competitor battlecards
    • Opportunity assessments
    • Leadership briefings and strategic presentations
  • Act as a subject matter expert in key healthcare segments and support roadmap prioritization, concept evaluation, and field enablement
  • Develop relationships across Oracle Health to continually harvest internal intelligence (e.g., from sales, implementation, support, and customer success)
  • Contribute to thought leadership and help build Oracle Health’s presence at industry events

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $109,200 to $223,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
