AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We are hiring a team player who is passionate about connecting teams and missions through data. This person will work across teams and regions to gain alignment on data requirements, data quality, and to identify and drive process improvements and cost savings opportunities around the globe. Specifically, this role will immerse themselves in Data Center Construction cost, schedule, quality, safety, and efficiency data and the associated processes within our teams to identify, report on and suggest actions to improve these aspects of our projects.
Key job responsibilities
Identify, locate, and consolidate data from partner teams and tools to create end-to-end data visibility, dashboards, and reports with key insights into business opportunities.
Will work across teams and regions to understand key processes and how they influence the data quality and availability.
Will participate in meetings with partner teams and leadership to explain cost trends and cost savings opportunities.
Will follow up on suggested action items to assist with or drive positive change in our org.

- Experience developing and presenting recommendations of new metrics allowing better understanding of the performance of the business
- Experience in analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc.
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Must have experience working across teams to gain a deeper understanding of complex processes and utilizing data to gain alignment and drive change.
- Familiarity with quantity surveying industry practices.
- Project Management Professional (or equivalent) certification
