Job Summary:

Manage the Inventory and Stock process while partnering with Procurement and Production to ensure material needs are maintained in order to meet production readiness and OTD.

Requirements

  

Essential Functions:

  • Manage ALL Inventory and Stock Parts Direct and Indirect stock
  • Coordinate VMI Bin Replenishment
  • Coordinate Min/Max Kahn Bans
  • Reconcile Inventory and Physical counts
  • Responsible for inventory transactions into company data base
  • Manage monthly billing in conjunction with AP
  • Collaborate with Purchasing, Production, and Warehouse departments
  • Act as first line interface with suppliers to discuss inventory issues, adjust min/max levels. Add and delete Inventory and Stock component. 
  • Enter daily inventory transactions in company database and process pulling of items for production
  • Run daily backorder fill report and compare with material needs
  • Ensure quality control by checking received products for damage, or missing components
  • Maintain an organized and clean work environment
  • Operate dollies, pallet jacks, and/or a forklift in to load and unload supplies and equipment
  • Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety
  • Expedite transfer of materials from stock area to production areas
  • Examine material received, verify part numbers, and check discrepancies such as damaged or unmarked parts
  • Utilizes hand trucks, forklifts, hoists or other handling equipment to move material to and from the production or the receiving area to assigned locations within the production area
  • Generate reports in regard to material flow, manage and create metrics
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by Logistics Manager

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED 
  • 2-4 years of relevant warehouse experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Knowledge:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Basic literacy and numerical skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • High level of organization
  • Ability to multi-task

Training and License Requirements:

  • Tesco Controls, safety training program
  • Forklift certification required or have the ability to obtain certification

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, and reach for long periods of time
  • Heavy physical demands: walking, standing, stooping, reaching, and lifting will constitute 100% of work shift

Work Environment:

  • Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
  • Work performed in a factory environment

 Pay offered will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, and geographic location. We may pay more or less than the range based on the person’s qualifications. In good faith we believe the range is what we will pay for this role at the time of the posting and may change in the future. In addition, Tesco offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, vacation, holidays, and 100% 401K match of your contributions up to 4% of your earnings
