Job Description:
- New Products and version evaluation of Opensource, Cloud native, Middleware products and provide certified baseline for Application environments.
- Certifying new versions of Tomcat and Apache, by testing and implementing the new versions in the present application model.
- Analyze the Tenable report and servers which come under the BSC Violations and Remediate the Risk.
- Communicate with Application teams and understand the application flow and test the solution in lower environments, create change tickets and implement them in the prod servers.
- Have sessions with the scanning team for understanding the plugin functionalities and implementing the solutions for mitigating Risk on the application servers.
- Resolve hardware compatibility in context of hardware selection.
- Support Environment Build and Delivery as per application requirements.
- Develop solutions for the new Vulnerabilities that the product has.
- Act as main interface between Operations, Infrastructure, Engineering, and technical customers.
- Assist team with Middleware upgrades and keep environments running with supported versions.
- Document and provide technical guidelines and standard methodologies to Operations, Integration and Development teams.
- Provide ongoing sophisticated, high-level enterprise technical support including Non-Business Hour support and On-Call support when expertise needed.
- Testing the Open JDK versions by performing Integration testing on the application servers. Automate with Automate Cloud Migration tasks using required automation tools Unix Shell-scripting, Python, Ansible.
- Perform related duties as assigned or requested.
- Position eligible for part time telecommuting.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent* in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or in a related technical field.
Experience includes five (5) years of the following:
- Designing, developing, solving, and debugging infrastructure software including Java, J2EE, JBoss EAP, WebLogic Server, Oracle SOA, Oracle OSB, Apache, and Tomcat.
- Ansible code development and Testing the code through Jenkins on Linux servers (RHEL6, RHEL7, or RHEL8).
*Employer will accept any combination of education that has been evaluated by a professional credentials evaluation service to be the equivalent of a U.S. degree.
References required.
40 hours per week 8:45 AM to 5:15 PM.
