Your Career

We are looking for an experienced program and delivery manager to join the Palo Alto Network’s Enterprise PMO team. The ideal candidate will have a background in planning and delivering business and technology transformation projects, is well-versed in software delivery methodologies, and is experienced in implementing these methodologies across a fast-paced, dynamic organization. You will act as a strategic business partner to our cross-functional business partners, driving and managing program/project health, making data-driven decisions on project scope and schedule, and managing executive communications to ensure that we’re delivering on our company’s most strategic initiatives.

Your Impact

  • Lead large transformational initiatives, identifying cross-functional dependencies, anticipating and mitigating risks, and managing business and IT stakeholder expectations and priorities
  • Effectively work with business stakeholders, product managers, product owners, and scrum masters to align business strategy and program execution, ensuring outcomes and values are aligned with company goals
  • Drive transformation roadmaps and collaborate with stakeholders to help scale business capabilities with the growth of the organization and company
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with multiple levels including executive leadership team, managers, and peers
  • Partner with product teams to facilitate initiatives for new product launches, feedback and escalation management
  • Develop and deliver presentations and reports on progress of transformational initiatives to our operational leaders and executive team
  • Contribute to development and rollout of project delivery and portfolio management standards across the organization
  • Demonstrate curiosity to learn and optimize existing business processes, and assist in development of business cases/value analyses in collaboration with business stakeholders

Qualifications

Your Experience

  • Minimum 8+ years of program management experience in a fast moving, agile environment in a high growth company 
  • MBA graduate from a top-tier business school with Big 4 Consulting (PWC, Deloitte, Accenture etc.) and experience working for a large, enterprise Tech company or equivalent military experience requried
  • Functional experience in go-to-marketing programs, customer experience, finance operations, or some other core business capability
  • Experience driving quarterly portfolio planning workshops using proven frameworks to optimize ROI and measurable business value
  • Excellent communication skills, problem solving, conflict resolution management, active listening, time management and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated consistent ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver technical solutions while mitigating or removing obstacles
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a strong foundational understanding of enterprise applications, infrastructure, information security, and operations
  • Hands-on expertise working with Agile/Scrum methodologies including agile tools (Jira, Confluence, smart sheet)
  • A self-starter that uses great judgment to keep programs and projects moving forward and completed on target
