Summary

The Plant Maintenance staff will perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities, including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems.   

Duties & Responsibilities

• Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair.
• Troubleshoot issues to determine necessary repairs.
• Plans repair work using building blueprints or equipment manual as needed.
• Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. 
• Performs routine maintenance on building systems.
• Cleans and assists with the upkeep of the facilities.
• Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries. 
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
• Prepare work schedules for plant maintenance.

Education & Qualifications

• High School Diploma 
• General mechanical aptitude 
• 2+ Years of Experience in a maintenance position in a manufacturing environment
• Must perform a passing grade on our math aptitude test
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test successfully

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50 to 75 pounds.
• Must be able to work in a hot warehouse environment
• Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the production facility
• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
