Position Summary
Assists the AVP of Business Development with generating leads to help create sustainable business growth. Initiates contact with prospects and maintains good relationships with existing SEG Members. Addresses their needs to ensure member satisfaction. Complete a range of administrative duties such as answering the phone, typing on a computer and updating spreadsheets. Works in a fast-paced team environment using excellent people skills. Assists with creating presentations for prospective clients. Conducts market analysis as needed to assist with identifying new sales avenues to target.
Work Location
This position is located at Corporate Headquarters in Downtown Baltimore. Incumbent will be required to report in office for this role. Upon completion of 90 days incumbent may work hybrid schedule.
Education
- High School Diploma – Required
- General Education Degree (GED) – in lieu of H.S. Diploma
Experience
- Two (2) to four (4) years’ experience providing direct customer/member service or administrative duties – Required
- Strong networking skills - Preferred
- Proven skills in a financial institution - Preferred
Responsibilities / Essential Duties
- Opening new accounts and scanning Member documents.
- Contacting new Members to assist with onboarding activities.
- Oversee the Departmental schedule to coordinate off sites and meetings with Business Development Officers, Vendors, and SEG Partners.
- Respond to Departmental inquiries by phone, email, or written communication.
- Preparing departmental reports for Management.
- Maintaining effective relationships with Members and SEG Partners via email, phone, and in-person.
