I. Job Summary
This role plays a critical role in shaping and managing the organization’s technology backbone. Responsibilities span strategic planning, program delivery, and operational execution. The role leads the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-wide systems, including networks, cloud (data centers), telecommunications, servers, PCs, and service assurance, ensuring scalability, accessibility, and security.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Develop and execute a forward-thinking infrastructure strategy aligned with our company’s technological vision, leveraging emerging technologies to enhance our infrastructure capabilities.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of enterprise-wide system tools, ensuring scalability and accessibility of applications or services; collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure services.
- Drive innovation by exploring automation, DevOps, and infrastructure-as-code paradigms, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and agility.
- Evaluate and select technology vendors/partners and negotiate contracts and maintain strong relationships.
- Lead, inspire, and mentor a high-performing team; attract top talent and foster a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.
- Develop and establish policies and procedures for the design and maintenance of the organization’s enterprise infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Manage infrastructure costs by deploying cost-effective solutions, optimizing licensing agreements, and identifying areas for process improvements.

The highest level of supervisory skills required in this job is management through one or more managerial levels. This includes:
- Direct supervision of full-time employees including senior management and individual contributor positions;
- Indirect supervision of full-time employees including management and individual contributor positions.

B. Education and Experience
- Education: Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Computer Science, MIS, Finance or similar area of study or, in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four (4) years of relevant work experience.
- Experience: Ten (10) years of prior work experience (in addition to education requirement) within Information Technology including at least three years managing a team of two of more individuals.

D. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required
- Experience in the most current technologies and products used in the industry. May require in depth skills in one or more of the following: technical software development and deployment, employee management, program and project management, budget development and monitoring, organizational change and development.
- Strong understanding of enterprise systems, network architecture, and cloud technologies.
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure projects.
