Job Description

Pay Rate: $17.75 per hour

(Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am)

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Feed front half of bird into breast processor. Remove downgrade front halves and place into bucket. Take bucket to front half hopper.
2. Lift breast halves and place on cone.
3. Score front half and pop wishbone.
4. Cut fillets and remove chicken tender and breasts. Trim to specification. If breast processor is down, manually cut wings and skin front half.
5. Package breast fillets, tenders and wings.
6. Feed chicken parts into machinery.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time (8+hrs) on concrete/metal grate ergo stands or on the floor.
• Must be able to use small hand held tools such as knives or scissors.
• Able to visually inspect product and separate chicken.
• Repetitive grasping, pushing and pulling motions, torso twisting and lifting of 4 to 10 pounds.
• Must be able to rotate to all positions.
• Able to work in a cold, warm or wet environment.
• Able to work around moving equipment.
