At Gerber, part of Fiskars Group, we’ve been creating tools built for life’s adventures for over 80 years. From pioneering multi-tools to crafting blades trusted by explorers, first responders, and everyday problem-solvers, we design gear that works when it matters most.
Now, we’re looking for a Business Controller / FP&A Manager to play a key role in shaping the financial future of our business. This position is ideal for someone who loves turning numbers into strategy — someone with the curiosity to dig deep into data and the confidence to drive impactful decisions across the organization.
What You’ll Do
Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to support strategic business decisions.
Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to evaluate programs that increase sales, market share, and profitability.
Monitor factory and supply chain performance and provide regular financial insights to management.
Support long-term and annual business planning processes, identifying cost optimization and growth opportunities.
Build and maintain financial models and forecasts to guide strategic decisions.
Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess business health and performance.
Analyze market trends, benchmarks, and competitive data to support business strategy.
Prepare and present clear, actionable financial reports for senior leadership.
Collaborate cross-functionally to strengthen financial best practices and decision-making across teams.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, business control, or FP&A.
Strong analytical mindset with advanced Excel and data visualization skills (Tableau, Power BI).
Experience with ERP and financial systems such as SAP or Oracle.
Solid understanding of IFRS accounting principles.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear insights.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results on time.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
At Gerber, you’ll join a team that values craftsmanship, collaboration, and courage. We’re part of Fiskars Group, a 375-year-old global organization dedicated to design and innovation — yet we operate with the agility and spirit of a modern outdoor brand. You’ll have the freedom to make an impact, backed by the strength of a global network.
