We’re hiring a Construction Project Manager to lead commercial retail projects across the U.S., ranging from $50,000 to $1,000,000 in size. Projects include remodels, refreshes, refacing, light industrial upgrades, and roofing. This is a hands-on role requiring strong project oversight, subcontractor management, and multi-site coordination with up to 40% travel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end project delivery: kickoff, scheduling, execution, and closeout
• Oversee subcontractors, timelines, and job site quality
• Coordinate retail remodels, refacing, and light construction scopes
• Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and financial objectives are met. 
• Conduct site visits, monitor safety, and manage documentation
• Communicate with clients, vendors, and internal teams
• Prepare RFIs, change orders, and reports

Other Responsibilities: 

• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Adhering to AlffCo values and professionalism
• Weekends/nights may be required.

Requirements

Qualifications: 

• 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects, including retail remodels, refreshes, tenant improvements, and multi-site initiatives
• Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, and execute projects effectively, ensuring quality and timeliness across multiple job sites
• Proficient in blueprint reading, managing detailed project schedules, and supervising field crews with a focus on safety and productivity
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and maintain project alignment
• Familiarity with construction management software such as Procore, Buildertrend, or comparable tools
• Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience across multiple trades, ideally including HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, or carpentry
• An entrepreneurial mindset, continuously identifying opportunities for efficiency, cost savings, and process improvement
• Exceptional time management and prioritization skills to successfully juggle multiple assignments without compromising attention to detail
• A track record of delivering results in fast-paced, high-volume environments, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

Preferred: 

• PMP (Project Management Professional certification)
• Experience working with national retail customers.

 Technology Skill Requirements: 

• Basic proficiency with smartphone applications, work order management systems, and common computer programs
• Ability to capture and upload before-and-after photos, with GPS-confirmed check-in/check-out on all work orders and projects
• Competence in maintaining accurate records and generating reports for management review
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to support accurate reporting and project tracking
