Accounting Intern (Seasonal)

Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with team to help support various projects
- Other duties as assigned
GL:
- Sorting, filing, scanning and processing of documents into D365
- Prepare and enter general and sub ledger journal entries
- Reconcile daily, weekly and monthly reports to ledger
- Documentation of COA
- Respond to email and phone inquiries for the department
AR:
- Sorting, filing, scanning and processing of documents into D365
- Prepare and enter general and sub ledger journal entries
- Maintain related company financial statements in QuickBooks
- Post entries to customer trade and note receivable accounts
- Reconcile daily cash and debt accounts
- Lock box posting
- Customer mailed checks
- Process cash register & ACH payments
- Respond to email and phone inquiries for the department
Revenue Accounting:
- Processing, finalizing of Machine Sales Orders
- Supplier Post Sale Claim (PSC) data entry
- Respond to email and phone inquiries for the department
- Reconciliation work
Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED preferred
- Some college in a related field or applicable office experience desired
- Accounting experience a plus, but not required
- Computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook
- Personal Attributes: High level of accuracy and discretion, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, dependable, organized, willing to learn, able to multi-task,
- Work onsite
- Able to work up to 28 hours per week
Minimum Physical Requirements:
Standing, walking, sitting, using hands, talking, hearing
Working conditions are indoor and quiet

The pay range for this position is
$17.13 to $20.54Starting wage is dependent on skills, experience, education and location. Pay range may vary by 10% depending upon the applicant’s location. Along with competitive pay, full time positions are benefits eligible which includes:
