Job Description:

As a market leader, the talent and passion of our people are critical to our success. The Human Capital Function in New York provides support and strategy at every level of Alantra’s business covering the US (Boston & New York).

We are looking for a Senior Analyst to join our Human Capital team, who will contribute to the day-to-day business and to the execution of our people initiatives.. Alantra gives its analysts significant responsibilities and is committed to their learning experience during their tenure with the firm and so you will have direct exposure to all levels of the organization.

This role includes reporting to the local head of Corporate Services and to Corporate Human Capital, as well as constant coordination and communication with the broader Human Capital team. You will play a key role in ensuring alignment between global and local initiatives.

Some of these responsibilities will include:

  • Support the business with HR related queries, including policies, benefits and procedures
  • ·Support the recruitment cycle, in coordination with Talent Acquisition specialists and the business, including posting vacancies, sourcing candidates, screening applicants, and interviewing candidates
  • Coordinate college career fairs, organizing internal job events such as open houses and job fairs
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in HR systems and track and analyze people metrics as required
  • Preparing and issuing offer letters and contracts to the successful candidate
  • Leading the onboarding of new hires and offboarding of leavers
  • Support and local coordination of Learning & Development initiatives
  • Provide data and operational support for talent reviews, employee development programs and the Performance Management process
  • Address employee queries related to benefits and ensure a smooth implementation of benefits changes
  • Assist in preparation of compensation data and support the annual compensation cycles

Requirements:

·         Applicants must have a strong interest in HR, innovative solutions, and process improvement.

·         3 or 4 years of previous experience in HC.

·         Strong academic background/results and HR knowledge.

·         Bachelor’s degree.

·         Attention to detail.

·         Previous experience with Workday is a plus.

·         Ability to contribute your own ideas and work autonomously.

·         Bias for action, strong work ethic, and desire to achieve excellence.

·         Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

·         Proficiency in the use of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
