Our Marine Structures / Civil Team is looking for a Senior Structural / Civil Designer to work with our group of engineers focusing on various Maritime & Coastal engineering projects across the US and internationally.

This position is based out of our Savannah, GA office and will work with our team members that are located across multiple regions.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: 

• Lead the preparation of CADD drawings for project deliverables.
• Engage, coordinate, and manage work across multiple disciplines directly impacting the CADD drawings.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and prioritize tasks for self and other drafters/designers on the team.
• Ensure timely delivery of all tasks assigned.
• Prepare design concept drawings and ideas for discussion and conceptual development.
• Prepare detail drawings that require a degree of technical design utilizing knowledge of relevant design principles.
• Use client specific and industry-standard CADD standards as needed.
• Recommend improvements and innovations.
• Carry out quality checks and procedures.
• Provide training and oversite to junior staff.

What you will bring to the team:

• 15+ years of drafting and design experience AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D and Revit design software.
• Graduation from an accredited institute program in Civil Engineering Technology is preferred.
• Drafting and detailing experience should include support of heavy infrastructure and structural engineering projects, preferable with Federal, DoD, and Port projects.
• Experience providing CAD support to other disciplines including architectural, civil, mechanical and electrical will be beneficial.
• You possess a working knowledge of advanced drafting practices and familiarity with CADD principles (i.e., text placement and editing, layering, snap, precision input, etc).
