Job Description

Responsibilities
 Reporting to the Nurse Manager, Patient Care Tech IIs will provide direct bedside care to patients:

    Performs assigned nursing procedures for the comfort and well-being of the patient
    Maintains appropriate documentation on all assigned patients, including flow sheets
    Maintains advanced knowledge and experience with phlebotomy and lab specimen collection including T&S, Blood Cultures
    Assists physicians with examinations and tests as needed
    Other tasks include respiratory services, and rehabilitation services

Qualifications
To qualify as Patient Care Tech II, you must meet the following requirements for consideration:

    High School Diploma or equivalent required
    One of the following is required: PCT or related certification, Certified nursing assistant (CNA), EMT
    Minimum of 2 years nursing assistant, PCT or healthcare experience required. Certification and completion of advanced skills and knowledge training within six months of hire accepted in lieu of experience requirement
    AHA BLS required
