What We are Looking For:  

Bender Companies is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at one of our apartment communities in Minneapolis. In this role, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, is highly attentive to detail, and understands the importance of cleanliness in both shared and private living spaces. 

Experience in custodial or janitorial roles, especially in residential or commercial settings, is preferred. A strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work independently or as part of a team are key to success. 

Job Type: Full-time 

Pay: $18-$19/hr

Schedule: 

• 8 AM to 4:30 PM (however hours may vary) 

• Monday to Friday 

• Weekends as needed 

Here are some things that will make you successful: 

• Reliable transportation to get to work 

• Previous experience as a cleaner, janitor, or custodian in residential, commercial, or hospitality settings 

• Familiarity with the proper use and care of cleaning equipment and chemicals 

• Understanding of safe handling and disposal of cleaning agents and hazardous materials 

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision 

• Strong attention to detail and a passion for keeping spaces clean and safe 

• Dependable, punctual, and committed to high-quality work 

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds 

 What you will be doing: 

 As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for keeping our apartment buildings and common areas in top condition. Your work will directly contribute to resident satisfaction and the overall appeal of the community. You will assist in both day-to-day cleaning duties and special projects, including preparing vacant units for new residents.
