As a Retail Sales Associate for Gozzer Ranch you will be part of creating the Gozzer Ranch Experience. You may be asked to perform other tasks (outside of your key areas of responsibility) from time to time based on business needs. Your key areas of responsibility are outlined below:

Key Area #1: Member Experience and Vibe

• Greet our member and member guests promptly upon arrival
• Always provide our member and member guests prompt and professional service

Key Area #3: Daily Operations

• Merchandising and Customer Service:
  • Drive sales through building member relationships and maintaining knowledge of brands in the store and current fashion trends in the region.
  • Assist and service members and their guests with all retail purchases, returns and special orders.
  • Work directly with Retail Management on guidance for merchandising and rotating displays on a regular basis.
  • Ensure company packaging standards are upheld and implement special touches like gift-wrap, thank-you notes, etc.
  • Ensure proper procedures are followed for all POS transactions including markdowns and employee discounts.
  • Monitor and drive sales to meet monthly revenue budgets through promotion and customer service, floor rotations, retail events, etc.
  • Assist with set/tear down and sales of all trunk shows and other promotions to expand retail offering to members and increase revenues.

• Inventory Control:
  • Conduct monthly physical inventory and all required month end reconciliations and reporting.
  • Monitor and manage inventory shrink for Golf Shop merchandise.
  • Monitor best sellers and core stock items regularly and request fill in orders as needed with proper approval Retail Manager or Assistant Retail Manager

• Other Responsibilities:
  • Assist Retail Management as requested with any special requests relating to retail.
  • Monitor and enforce policies for employee purchases.
  • Maintain adequate levels of all retail supplies: packaging, tagging supplies, etc. Report low levels to Retail Management

Qualifications

• One (1) to three (3) years of retail operations and customer service experience preferred.
• At least six (6) months of previous work experience in hospitality or customer service, preferably in a fast paced, luxury service environment.  
• Experience with Point of Sales Systems (Jonus or TEI preferred).
• Knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Basic knowledge of the golf/boutique/specialty retail industry as it relates to hospitality and private club retail environments.
• Extraordinary attention to detail, quality and service.
• Ability to sell and create rapport with customers.

• Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Long hours may be required due to business demands.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages preferred.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than eight (8) hours, and lifting and carrying items sometimes greater than fifty (50)
