Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and execute complex data and analytics projects for Sales, Marketing, and Finance, identifying key objectives, translating business problems into data problems, extracting insights and implementing impactful solutions.
- Design, build, and deploy advanced ML models (e.g., demand forecasting, customer segmentation, churn prediction, pricing optimization), ensuring technical soundness, interpretability, and scalability.
- Champion a data-driven culture within Sales, Marketing, and Finance, collaborating closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Stay at the forefront of industry trends and emerging technologies in AI and ML, actively seeking opportunities to implement innovative solutions within the organization.
- Mentor and guide junior data scientists, fostering a collaborative and learning environment within the team.
- Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior management.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of data pipelines, infrastructure, and best practices.
Qualifications
RQUIRED
- Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or related role within a large organization, ideally with exposure to Sales, Marketing, and Finance verticals.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Spotfire) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Solid expertise in machine learning techniques (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, deep learning) and experience applying them to real-world business problems.
- Proficiency in programming languages & big data technologies like Python, R, and SQL, Hadoop, Spark.

- Ability to think critically and analytically, with a keen attention to detail and a passion for solving complex problems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams, mentor junior members, and drive projects to successful completion.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving business needs and priorities.
