The Floating General Manager is responsible for providing coverage to designated stores. The Floating General Manager must be proficient with store operations and efficient in all store programs, policies, and expectations. The Floating General Manager will help train new employees. The Floating General Manager must be flexible in traveling to locations as directed. Location of daily worksite will be directed by company need.

Store Locations: 10-mile radius from Elyria

Requirements/Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience in retail, convenience, or fast food industries.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain operation records, prepare daily reports and make daily trips to the bank for Store deposits.
• Review shift reports and assure that all reports and funds are reconciled correctly.
• Perform routine inventory counts for cigarettes, lottery tickets, and other items as required per company policy
• Evaluate stock levels of all designated items, place orders, and work with vendors for stock levels.
• Assure consistent high-level merchandising of store products and attractive presentation of store facilities.
• Review gas pricing for designated area competition, advise of price changes, and adjust retail prices as directed.
• Promote sales and ensure sales team knowledge of promotions.
• Attract, hire and retain store employees.
• Train and development employees in all aspects of the business including customer service and suggestive selling.
• Assure facility is always maintained in a clean, orderly, and presentable manner.
• Project enthusiasm and excitement to build customer relationships and continue to grow the base of regular customers.
• Assist customers with inquiries and complaints.
