Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
As a Shop Technician in our Earthmoving Division, you’ll work on a wide range of Caterpillar and allied equipment:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Repair, rebuild, and overhaul major components
- Perform inspections and preventative maintenance
- Disassemble and reassemble equipment and systems
- Complete service reporting and documentation
- Stay current with evolving tools and technology
- Work safely and collaboratively with your team
Qualifications
What You Bring
- 2+ years of heavy equipment or diesel technician experience(or Diesel Tech degree)
- Strong knowledge of engines, hydraulics, electrical, and drivetrains
- Solid diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills (service systems & documentation)
- Your own tools
- Pride in your workmanship and a safety-first mindset
