Job Overview  

The Intern for Business Development will work with the team to support in underwriting and pursuing new hotel third-party management opportunities. 

Duties & Responsibilities 

· Assist with underwriting new hotel acquisitions, working through the entire process from discovery to closing.

· Update existing models with updated financials, and track KPIs across the portfolio

· Perform market research and collecting historical transaction data and details

· Review weekly and monthly STR Reporting for our existing hotel portfolio

· Track on-market deals and cultivate potential leads

· Provide miscellaneous ad-hoc analytical support as needed by the development team 

· Assist with tracking lender covenants and maintaining models with our debt finance team

· Help our internal tax team, corporate accounting team, and marketing team on an as-needed basis

· Any other duties as assigned 

Qualifications & Experience

· Pursuing a BA/BS degree in finance, real estate, or other business related degrees · Strong business writing skills · Proficient in Excel, and Word · Ability to work independently while also maintaining rapport with other members of the team· Strong organizational skills
