Job Title: Nurse Manager (RN or LPN)
- Location: Tempe, AZ
- Hours & Schedule: Full-time (Mon - Fri: 0800-1700)
- Work Environment: Skilled Nursing Facility / Long-Term Care (Self Pay/Cash Pay)
- Salary: $70k - $95k / year

- On Call Required: Yes, every 1:6 weeks (just phone call, almost never have to come into the office)

Job Summary:
The Nurse Manager (RN or LPN) plays a vital leadership role within our Skilled Nursing and Long-Term Care community. This position oversees nursing staff and daily clinical operations to ensure exceptional resident care, regulatory compliance, and a positive work environment. The Nurse Manager supports team development, coordinates care delivery, and serves as a clinical resource to ensure our residents receive high-quality, person-centered care.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support nursing staff to ensure care excellence and compliance
- Coordinate and execute nursing care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Monitor care outcomes, identify concerns, and implement corrective actions when needed
- Maintain accurate and timely resident documentation and records
- Lead training and mentoring efforts for new and current staff
- Manage staff scheduling and provide weekend/on-call rotation coverage
- Support team cohesion and a positive workplace culture
- Serve as a role model for compassionate, effective patient care
Prerequisites / License & Certification Requirements:
- Must hold a valid RN or LPN license in the state of Arizona
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with EHR systems (preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across disciplines
