Title: Iron Dukes Staff Assistant

 

Position Summary:

Duke University Athletics Association is seeking a qualified candidate for the Iron Dukes Staff Assistant position. This person will report to the Director of Strategic Initiatives - Iron Dukes. This is a part-time, benefits ineligible position.

 

Essential Functions:

· Assist with communications, marketing, and graphic design

· Assist with Iron Dukes events in conjunction with games

· Assist with stewardship of affinity groups

· Assist with data and analytics

Qualifications:

Work generally requires organizational, analytical and communication skills normally acquired through the completion of a bachelor’s degree program.

 

Knowledge, Skills, Ability:

· Excellent written and oral skills

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

· Ability to learn quickly and communicate effectively

· Excellent organizational ability and attention to detail

· Ability to manage time well and prioritize tasks

· Ability to interact with diverse groups through a variety of situations

· Ability to use independent judgment

· Strong problem‐solving skills

· Must be able to accommodate a variable work schedule that may include evenings and weekends

· Must be able to lift up to 25lbs

Education

Work requires analytical, communication and organizational skills generally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree program.
