Job Description
Role Summary:
The Spare Parts Coordinator is responsible for fulfilling all customer orders for replacement parts for Zip-Pak equipment. Excellent customer service skills are required to communicate with customers and insure they receive the correct components in a timely fashion.
This position is responsible for all Spare Parts process as quoting, buying, inventory control and invoicing.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Communicate with customers to understand their part requirements
- Read blueprints and bill of materials to ascertain correct parts are ordered
- Quote with vendors parts and service needed to attend customer request
- Prepare and send quote to customer
- Enter customer orders in Microsoft AX
- Create and send purchase orders to vendor
- Receive incoming shipments include operating a fork lift
- Identify and qualify component vendors
- Perform quality control of parts received
- Ship and invoice parts orders
- Perform monthly inventory on components
Qualifications
Position Skills and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required. Associates degree or equivalent 2-year college, trade school and/or apprenticeship desired
- Requires 2-4 years of experience in customer service environment
- Strong organizational skills being able to prioritize tasks and deliver results.
- Self-management skills demanding low level of supervision.
- Strong aptitude in reading 2D mechanical drawings/schematics
- Demonstrates computer skills required for the position – ERP, eDrawings or similar software, spreadsheet and database software

Be able to operate a Forklift.
