Minimum Qualifications

  • High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Electrician Journeyperson Card (or equivalent 5 years' experience) OR Machine Repair Journeyperson Card (or equivalent 5 years' experience) with the maintenance of production equipment is required.
  • Must have an understanding of DENSO maintenance systems.
  • Must have above average troubleshooting skills and be able to handle multiple tasks at one time
  • Must be self-directed and self-motivated.
  • Must have good writing skills, capable of writing manuals.
  • Must have or be willing to learn good documentation skills and time management skills.
  • Must possess good people skills, including the ability to give and receive constructive feedback, praise and recognize the work of others, and effectively influence others for positive change.
  • Will also be required to help Team Leader during absences, take work order calls and set priorities.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Be a Team Member that is part of the solution to a problem
  • Lead Associates in the repair of complex equipment
  • Edit Robot programs to improve the process - Fanuc, ABB, Motoman, Starr, DENSO robots
  • Edit PLC programs - Allen Bradley , Siemens, Mitsubishi
  • Work with vision systems for part quality checks
  • Preform mechanical repairs on high precision equipment
  • Use your skilled trades experience to recommend machine improvements
  • Set PM plans, weekday and weekend planned machine repair schedules
  • Maintain a high quality standard for the area
  • Work overtime as needed -Every other weekend required 
  • Train and develop associates and temporaries and ensure that daily goals are met.
  • Maintain good safety habits and working conditions within the area
  • Maintain a high level of communication with Team Leader, team members and support groups,
  • Ability to meet goals and objectives through continuous improvement activities including Kaizen improvements.
  • Completion of daily paperwork including high bar analyses with use of IPC charts
  • Proper 5S of area and daily process control audits.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred, but not required are:

  • Previous management/leadership experience, robot and Yasakawa Servo experience, previous laptop experience.
