Join one of the world’s leading suppliers of wind power solutions as a Production Group Leader for Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy! Demand for electricity generated from renewable sources is growing fast, and Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy has the answers.
Ensures adherence to agreed production standards and procedures and leads all manufacturing staff related to a production line/section or production shift.
Relocation may be offered for this role should it be necessary.
Responsibilities:
Ensures adherence to defined manufacturing guidelines, processes and procedures.
Supervises production activities according to established quality standards and EHS requirements.
Contributes to production planning processes and determines manufacturing priorities based on established weekly production schedules.Makes daily assignments and assigns work and tasks to the member of the production group.
Interprets specifications and makes judgments about the acceptability of production that is in process.
Proposes procedures improvements and implements technical infrastructure.
Leads and supervises assigned Production Technicians, Operators and workers.
Required Knowledge, Education, Experience and Skills
Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy qualifications or a related technical field preferred.
2+ years of experience in Industrial Manufacturing.
A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required for all US positions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in explaining complex technical concepts to field technicians and non-technical personnel.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying issues and recommending solutions.
10% of travel required with the position.
