The role:

The Sr. Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for developing and maintaining technical solutions for the Distribution team that will reduce error and improve results as key member of the organization assisting with the directing and managing of production operations of Alani’s RTD, RTE and Sports Nutrition external manufacturers. Total SKUs across these product lines exceeds 100 with annual spend on pace to be over $100M for 2023.

This role is highly collaborative as it will partner with third-party manufacturers, raw material suppliers, and internal stake holders across all departments. The external manufacturing team will be responsible for meeting performance metrics in quality, cost management, inventory availability, and turnover.

Key responsibilities:

  • Drive efficiencies through daily reporting that focuses departments on actions they can take to drive on-time, in-full shipments to customers.
  • Identify and measure inefficiencies and costs to determine how to streamline the Supply chain and create strategies for improvement.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments and between Sales and Operations teams to drive the best outcomes for the customer.
  • Seek to improve all aspects of the supply chain by reviewing current methodology and processes.
  • Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects.
  • Design and implement methods to gather and manage data as needed.
  • Experience leading and/or participating in cross-functional teams.
  • Experience analyzing and improving supply chain and/or financial metrics, information, and processes.
  • Developing and preparing reports for various audience levels, from users to senior management, that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
  • Experience working in and maintaining databases using Microsoft Excel
  • Monitor for data accuracy, timeliness, and integrity in data used in analysis and reporting.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Manage individual projects as assigned to ensure adherence to schedule, quality and accuracy of delivered results.
  • Ability to conceptualize large-picture projects, foresee challenges, and address needs.
  • Learn and continue to gain business operations knowledge. Leverage this knowledge to recommend future projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Key skills and experience required:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Engineering
  • 5+ years of working in Supply Chain specifically in the areas of forecasting, procurement, demand, and supply planning in a Manufacturing Environment.
  • 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain functions Supply chain management, vendor relations and production planning or related job
  • 2+ years of Project Management experience at a CPG company or other related industry.
  • 2+ years of ERP experience (Preferably SAP S/4HANA, Netsuit)
  • +2 years of Team Management experience
  • Create excel models and routine level reports.
  • Responsible for data and report accuracy and expected to find errors in data; investigate and develop robust controls to mitigate future errors.
  • Responsible for improving current processes.
  • Excellent collaborator and relationship builder; internal and external.
  • Excellent planning, root cause analysis/problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Has a demonstrated passion that align with the core values of Alani Nu.
