Role/ Department: Time, Leave and Absence Business Process Consultant/HR Services

The Time, Leave and Absence Business Process Consultant acts as a SME on the time and absence system within Workday and consults with HRIT & relevant HR COE’s regarding the interpretation and application of these policies. Builds and maintains relationships with HR COE’s and delivers Human Resource solutions that effectively address business issues and needs. Under general supervision (but works independently most of the time) responsible for being the lead on small, less complex projects or part of large complex projects. The Business Process Management function is responsible for an end-to-end process analysis and design with an understanding of technical and operating challenges and solutions as they relate to the current and future business environment. Role creates process change by integrating new processes with existing ones and communicating these changes. 

The key responsibilities of the role include:
•    In partnership with HR Compliance, Benefits, ER and the Compensation COEs, analyses requirements for new regulations, employment policies or compensation programs to ensure system and operations compliance
•    Manage or participate in projects requiring input from the Global Time, Leave & Absence department
•    Completes testing, and ensures appropriate COEs review and approve system results
•    Responsible for creating and documenting operational procedures; 
•    Provides training on Time, Absence and Leave related system processes for the HR Services team who directly supports inquiries from employees
•    When applicable, partners with Payroll to ensure T&A data feeds are accurate and timely into the payroll process
•    Periodically audits and reviews T&A data and content for accuracy and compliance against documented policy
•    Coordinate with the payroll team and ADP to perform quarterly reconciliations, filings, amendments, and tax notices.
•    Researches and monitors regulatory and legislative changes to ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations.
•    Conducts a second review on the works of others and train other team members 


Skills/Qualifications:
•    In-depth time, leave and absence experience  
•    Exceptional ability to organize and execute responsibilities with strong ability to be highly flexible and adaptable to change
•    Workday experience advantageous
•    Consulting, interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills
•    Ability to make decisions guided by policies, practices, procedures and business plan
•    Proven ability to build cross-functional relationships and partner with various stakeholders

 The successful candidate will benefit from having:
