Job Description

The SAP DSD - S4HANA LMD Consultant role is a critical position that focuses on configuring, deploying, and managing SAP ERP systems, particularly with an emphasis on SAP SD, SAP LE, and SAP DSD modules. This position requires a deep understanding of the integration of these modules with handheld solutions, which are essential for effective go-to-market strategies. The consultant will be responsible for ensuring that the SAP systems are tailored to meet the specific needs of the organization, particularly in the consumer goods industry, with a preference for candidates who have experience in the food and beverage sector. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in SAP ERP, with at least 4 years specifically in SAP S/4HANA. Hands-on experience with various SAP DSD models, such as Pre-Seller routes, Delivery Drivers, Van sales, and Mixed routes, is essential. The consultant will also be tasked with setting up SAP Master data, including Customers, Routes, Visit plans, Tasks, and Activities for DSD routes. This role involves mapping order capture processes, managing the provisioning of goods or services on routes, and handling returns of finished products, empties, free goods, and exchanges. Additionally, the consultant will need to possess a good working knowledge of pricing agreements and route settlement processes. Knowledge of integration with mobile devices, warehouse systems, and advanced transportation systems for route planning, load building, route execution, and settlement is also required. Strong leadership skills, including planning, organization, prioritization, and collaboration, are necessary to succeed in this role. The ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and to work flexible hours based on varying business requirements is also crucial.

Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, and manage SAP ERP systems with a focus on SAP SD, SAP LE, and SAP DSD modules.
  
• Integrate SAP DSD modules with handheld solutions for effective go-to-market strategies.
  
• Set up SAP Master data including Customers, Routes, Visit plans, Tasks, and Activities for DSD routes.
  
• Map order capture processes and manage the provisioning of goods or services on routes.
  
• Handle returns of finished products, empties, free goods, and exchanges.
  
• Maintain a good working knowledge of pricing agreements and route settlement processes.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience configuring, deploying, and managing SAP ERP systems.
  
• 4+ years of experience in SAP S/4HANA preferred.
  
• Hands-on experience with various SAP DSD models such as Pre-Seller routes, Delivery Drivers, Van sales, and Mixed routes.
  
• Experience in setting up SAP Master data for DSD routes.
  
• Knowledge of order capture, management, and provisioning of goods or services on routes.
  
• Good working knowledge of pricing agreements and route settlement processes.
  
• Knowledge of integration with mobile devices and warehouse systems.
