- Effectively develop and implement an HR governance framework, assist with driving mid/long-term HR strategies aligned with business objectives and enhance employee engagement. This role ensures compliance, consistency, and effective communication across HR processes, fostering a positive and high-performance culture.
Major Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a robust HR governance framework to ensure compliance, consistency, and adherence across all HR processes and policies
- Exercise discretion to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of HR policies and providing recommendations for improvements.
- Support the development of mid-term and long-term HR strategies that align with the company’s business objectives.
- Collaborate with HR leaders in conducting regional workforce planning to anticipate future HR needs and align HR initiatives with the company’s strategic direction.
- Create and keep updated the HR playbook, which outlines processes and policies for HR operations to ensure consistency and best practice application across the organization.
- Lead the communication and coordination of Hyundai Motor Company’s sponsored recognition programs.
- Use advanced knowledge to oversee routine and on-demand HR reporting and analysis.
- Ensure clear and consistent communication with internal stakeholders, particularly subsidiary HR counterparts.
- Provide guidance and support on governance, planning, and engagement activities, facilitating a cohesive HR strategy across the organization.
- Lead and support special projects as assigned.

Authority
- Development of key relationships between and among employees within RHQ & subsidiaries in day-to-day operations of business.
- Provide recommendations to management regarding organizational structures, workforce and HR processes.
Education
~ Must be a high school graduate~ Bachelor’s degree preferredRelated Experience
- Six or more years of experience of which at least three years of directly related experience in strategic HR planning.
- Working knowledge of HR Processes, administration and compliance issues.
- Experience as a HR consultant or HR strategic planning preferred.
Skills/Knowledge
- Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple concurrent assignments while meeting company and department objectives.
- Client – focused, business partnering and influencing skills
- The ability to work both strategically and operationally.
- Verbal and written communications skills that effectively relate to all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Certification
- Certificate in PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP preferred.
