Senior Patient Registrar - Department of Rehabilitation Medicine

In addition to registering, scheduling and obtaining pre-certification and authorization for patients with recurring visits, the Senior Patient Registrar assumes some responsibility for the work direction and training of Patient Registrars in accordance with established guidelines.

Location: The Sr. Patient Registrar will oversee the Spiral Hudson Yards location and Transfer Center/Rehab Access Center.

This is a full-time days position that works Monday-Friday.  

Preferred Criteria

• Two years of FCC Experience

• Some College

• Knowledge of health insurance benefits/requirements

• Knowledge of Coding: ICD 9, CPT-4

• Knowledge of Epic

Required Criteria

• High School diploma or GED

• Three years of related clerical experience

• Computer skills/Keyboard skills

• Customer Service Skills

• Attention to Detail

• Problem Solving Skills

• Time Management Skills
