About the role
Mitsubishi Power, Inc. in Orlando, FL is looking for a Global Sourcing Specialist Field Service.
- ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Review supplier invoices in the current Accounts Payable system.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for field service operations.
- Set up new suppliers in SharePoint and obtain required supplier documentation for QA, Engineering and Global Sourcing review.
- Perform Restricted Party Screenings and D&B reports.
- Assist in obtaining NDA’s and uploading executed NDAs into SharePoint.
- Assist in sharing technical data packages with suppliers for engineering.
- Request accounts receivable summaries for key suppliers.
- Assist in the preparation of bid tabs related to field service project procurement as needed.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in purchasing, supply chain management, and cross-functioning teams to implement best practices and improve efficiency.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers and coordinate with legal when required.
- Travel up to 10%.
- Perform other such duties as may be required.

- Bachelor’s Degree from accredited college or university; and as a minimum three (3) years of procurement experience in the power generation industry; or eight (8) years of procurement experience; or, any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities has been achieved. MBA/ ISM/ APCIS Members/ CSCM or CPIM, preferred.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
