About the role
Overview
The Dining Services Associate performs a variety of services related to the preparation and serving of food in the dining room. Working under direct supervision, this roles helps residents assemble their tray, serves drinks and clears trays when residents are finished eating.Responsibilities
Assembles trays and meals accurately and attractively according to the content, portion size, texture, condiments, and individual preferences when necessary in order to deliver high-quality food. Assists residents with table side service including carrying trays, serving drinks, cleaning and bussing tables in order to provide efficient and fast service. Ensures served food maintains Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HCCAP) temperature, quality, and time requirements in order to maintain safety standards. Follows established procedures for the proper storage of food by covering, labeling and dating food accurately. Utilizes and cleans food service equipment and areas in accordance with departmental and manufacturer specifications in order to avoid damage or excessive wear to materials.Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications
