Restaurant Manager

for KOA by Kyma New York in Paros.

Key tasks and responsibilities

  • Oversees the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring a seamless experience for guests.
  • Implements strategies to enhance financial performance and improve guest satisfaction ratings.
  • Collaborates with the culinary team on menu development and participates in food tastings.
  • Recruits, trains, and develops restaurant staff, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Conducts regular performance evaluations and provides constructive feedback to team members.
  • Maintains high standards of customer service; addresses guest inquiries and resolves complaints effectively.
  • Manages inventory and supply orders, conducting monthly audits.
  • Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations and promotes a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager in upscale dining or a similar environment.
  • Fluency in Greek and English; additional languages are an asset.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service orientation.
  • Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost control.
  • Work experience in a resort or seasonal restaurant is preferred.
  • Must be a resident of Paros or willing to relocate.
