We’re looking for a Paralegal to join our Alcohol & Tobacco Control team!
Examples of duties
Completion of an approved Paralegal or Legal Assistant program approved by the American Bar Association (ABA), or at an accredited college or university; ORPossession of a Certified Paralegal (CP) certification issued by the National Association of Legal Assistants, Inc.; OR
A Juris Doctorate.

Job Duties:
In this role, you will:
Conduct legal research on statutes, regulations, administrative rules, and case law relevant to ATC operations.
Summarize findings for attorney review and prepares research memoranda.
Draft routine legal documents including notices, decision, consent decrees, subpoenas, affidavits, motions, correspondence, and administrative filings subject to review and approval of attorneys.
Assists with processing public records requests, ensuring timely and accurate responses.

Compensation: The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.The Paralegal 1 (AS-613) has a starting rate of: $19.31/hourly; $1,544.80 biweekly.
The Paralegal 2 (AS-615) has a starting rate of: $22.10/hourly; $1,768.00 biweekly.
