Position Description

Primary Duties and Responsibilities (details of the basic job functions):

Oversees Automotive Services activities within the Georgia market, in order to ensure the cost-effective delivery of timely and high-quality roadside assistance service.  Implements and oversees programs relative to Roadside Assistance, Approved Auto Repair (AAR), Mobile Battery Service and ERS Fleet Operations (as applicable) in order to achieve and maintain Automotive Quality Standards (AQS) which include but are not limited to: competitive high quality satisfaction, on-the-go (OTG) performance, battery testing & installation, response time targets, dedicated service delivery growth with preferred service providers (PSP), AAR network availability. Manages Service Provider Network (dedicated and non-dedicated) that supply products and/or services for Automotive Services. Analyzes a variety of departmental reports to determine key quality service factors. Develops strategies to grow, maintain, reduce and when necessary eliminate territory coverage by Service Providers to accomplish ACG and AAA National goals and compliance with AQS. Works in cooperation with Assistant Vice President, Automotive Regional Operations in order to design, implement and monitor related programs to determine effectiveness and makes modifications as necessary. Actively prospects new service provider relationships in their markets in support of Automotive needs. Develops business relationships with the automotive industry that can lead to improved product performance at the local level. Prepares annual operating budget for assigned market or region. Collaborates with business partners including Automotive Administration, Back Office, Contact Centers, Human Resources, Learning & Development, Public Relations, IT, Real Estate Services and Procurement to support business priorities as needed. Must reside in the state of Georgia.

Directly and indirectly, areas comprised of managerial, professional, technical and clerical personnel who may be distributed in one or more locations.

Required Qualifications (these are the minimum requirements to qualify)

Education (include minimum education and any licensing/certifications):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Valid drivers’ license

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years work experience in a role that provided broad, specialized development in this or a directly related field

Extensive experience in:

  • customer service
  • program development
  • financial planning
  • quality control

Knowledge and Skills:

Managerial/supervisory experience to include:

  • analyzing and problem solving
  • organization and planning
  • budget preparation
  • decision making
  • leadership
  • staffing

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a professional capacity (e.g. Field Representative, Call Center management) within Automotive Services.
  • Automotive Services policies and procedures

Work Environment

Works in a temperature controlled office environment with occasional travel required with exposure to road hazards and temperature extremes.
