This position supports the delivery of Warner Bros. Discovery original programming for worldwide business deals. We're on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Media Servicing Sr. Lead to join our team and play a pivotal role in managing the delivery of exceptional content to our regional, and global partners. As a key member of our media operations team, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the seamless and timely delivery of high-quality video, language components, and ancillary materials. You will be part of a team who are relentlessly focused on advancing and evolving the operational efficiency and technical expertise within the global licensing content distribution space.
Your Role Accountabilities:
- Content Delivery Excellence: Own and lead (as assigned) the end-to-end process of content delivery, from initial demand signal to final delivery, ensuring adherence to quality standards, security protocols, and timelines. This will include complex client technical specifications (media, images, metadata) and various foreign languages.
- Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication: Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned distribution partners, understanding their unique requirements and ensuring alignment with our content delivery processes. Establish effective and productive working relationships with 3rd party vendors with whom you will collaborate to deliver our content in a best-in-class manner. Provide clear and concise communication to internal stakeholders and external partners regarding delivery status, potential challenges, and resolution timelines. Leverage effective reporting and contextual data as a key component of your communications.
- Issue Resolution: Act as a point of contact for any content delivery issues with your assigned content recipients, working collaboratively with internal teams, vendors, and partners to troubleshoot and resolve challenges promptly as they arise.
- Workflow Optimization: Continuously evaluate and refine content delivery workflows to enhance efficiency and meet the evolving demands of our partners. Identify opportunities for automation and streamline processes for maximum effectiveness.
- Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous quality assurance measures to guarantee that all delivered content meets industry standards and partner specifications.
- Communication: Provide clear and concise communication to internal stakeholders and external partners regarding delivery status, potential challenges, and resolution timelines.
- Stay Informed: Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and partner requirements to ensure our content delivery practices remain cutting-edge and aligned with industry best practices.
- Other work, as assigned – this role will have the opportunity to pivot contribute to the enhancement of our existing media workflows
Qualifications & Experiences:
Any candidate applying to this role must have:
- 5+ years of experience in media operations, with a focus on content delivery to global partners.
- Proven track record of successfully managing content delivery workflows for major streaming platforms like Amazon, Netflix, Apple, Max or Disney +.
- Requires technical expertise in digital file production, enforcing content protection and quality assurance for global license deals included EST, SVOD, TVOD, Int’l linear networks, and MAX global expansion.
- Strong understanding of audio, video, and ancillary material formats and specifications.
- Strong understanding of technical workflows for encoding, QC, metadata management and distribution.
- Familiarity with multiple file formats for audio, video, subtitles and closed captioning.
- Experience with managing and supporting third party vendors for the production and distribution of consumer content.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for quality assurance.
