IQEQ works with managers in multiple capacities ranging from hedge fund, private equity fund, and mutual fund launches; private equity fund administration; advisory firm set-up, regulatory registration and infrastructure design; ongoing regulatory compliance (SEC, CFTC, and 40 Act); financial controls and operational support services; compliance and operational related projects and reviews; and outsourced CFO/controller and administration services to private equity fund investments – portfolio companies, real estate assets and energy assets. Job Description
- Manage crypto investment operations and workflows, including transfers, reconciliation and post-trade settlement
- Manage service provider relationships and deliverables including finance, legal, compliance, tax, audit, custody, and more
- Manage portfolio company requests and deliverables
- Maintain and understand the various general ledgers for funds and management companies
- Oversee monthly portfolio reconciliation process; coordinate with the fund’s administrators, internal operations teams, and external vendors
- Assist with annual audits and tax return preparation
- Prepare and review performance estimates, attributions, and related ad-hoc projects and analysis as needed
- Work with the CFO and General Partners to actively partner with the legal, finance, and other team members to drive delivery of operational milestones
- Utilize basic programming skills to maintain scripts, perform analysis, and automate processes where possible
Qualifications
- 4+ years experience in a highly analytical role with an emphasis on fund operations in the blockchain industry
- In-depth knowledge of the current crypto asset financial products and blockchains
- Experience with daily and monthly P&L reconciliation and basic accounting knowledge
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills required, with a high level of attention to detail and passion for solving problems
- Highly motivated to roll up your sleeves and work in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment -- you want to make valuable contributions to a growing team
- Comfortable identifying and executing the highest priority projects, but know when to escalate or ask for help
- Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative discipline preferred

Salary based on experience and US location ($100,000-$160,000) and full benefit package offered.
