Responsibilities/Purpose
The Wholesale Reservations Agents are well-informed, courteous team members who provide our customers, wholesale/third party partners and internal guests/Team Members with excellent customer service. The Wholesale Reservations Agent assists customers/partners with booking, modifying, canceling reservations with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Wholesale Reservations Agents are also required to communicate with internal CET business partners, customers/guests and outside business partners via telephone, fax and email. Wholesale Reservations Agents are also responsible for assisting Tour & Travel sales teams with creating all aspects of their contracted groups in LMS. They will also assist with entering any associated reservations into LMS.
Job Functions:
- Performs various daily tasks such as but not limited to booking, changing, or canceling a reservation and other standards as determined by management.
- Are responsible for all aspects of creating/entering group codes, rate plans, special billing profiles, building web-links etc. as needed for Tour & Travel contracted groups.
- Clearly communicates and demonstrates enthusiastic service.
- Meets department punctuality, adherence and attendance guidelines.
- Handles all incoming customer transactions promptly, efficiently, accurately and professionally.
- Is required to meet or exceed the established department services levels, as well as the expectations set by the client and/or customer’s expectations.
- Meets department appearance guidelines.
- Safeguards customer confidentiality and privacy in accordance with company and department standards.
- Assists with special projects and/or additional duties as directed by a supervisor.
Essential Job Requirements:
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
Experience:
- 1-year Customer Service/Data Entry. Must have stable work history and be computer literate.
Abilities:
- Must be able to type 30 wpm or more.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must have a pleasant speaking voice, enthusiasm, demonstrate strong service and verbal communication skills and present oneself in a professional manner.
- Must possess a friendly demeanor and enjoy interaction with customers, both internal and external.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Able to sit for 2-3 hours at a time.
- Must be able to maintain a flexible work scheduled based on business demands.
- Must be multi-task oriented.
- Excellent interpersonal, communications, team building and problem-solving skills are required.

- Ability to perform full duties of dexterity and visual perception.
- Must be proficient in all required systems and have a sound knowledge of all CET and Partnership properties assigned to the LV Regional Contact Center.
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of Windows based PC Applications
- Some experience with LMS and /or Microsoft Windows is always a definite asset.
