Job Description

Visa Product + Strategy, Value Added Services (VAS), Commercial and Money Movement Solutions (CMS) PBP Team is seeking a People Business Partner to support the Business Planning and Strategy for the PBP Team. The right candidate for this role is familiar navigating challenging forces in a fast-paced, dynamic payments space with significant change. They will be comfortable flexing their skillsets ranging from operational excellence, analytical rigor, and natural curiosity.

This person will build relationships with business leaders and be a catalyst and thought partner in delivering People solutions that support the specific needs of each business and overall business objectives, utilizing the specialists in all People Centers of Excellence, serving as a resource/consultant in strategic and tactical approaches for all Human Resources areas.

  • Essential Functions
  • Providing HR expertise to assigned client people leaders in all aspects but not limited to employee relations, performance management, talent management/organizational development, rewards and recognition, growth and development and workforce planning with the support of the COEs
  • Implementing and supporting wide ranging strategic initiatives including:
    • New processes to drive consistency across the PBP Team
    • QBRs, Budget, AOP, WFP – partnering with finance and workforce planning
    • Insights and analysis as the data ninja for the team – partnering with People Analytics
    • Special ad hoc projects from inception to implementation, including communications, presentations, calendars, etc across both the PBP team as well as Product/VAS/CMS
  • Partnering with Talent to advise and drive best in class I&D agenda in alignment with COE, ensuring retention and growth of top UR and Women talent
  • Act as the Associate Product Manager Program PBP Lead collaborating with the business program leader, early careers team, and across Product/VAS/CMS leadership teams to facilitate the rotation program   
  • Partnering with Workforce Planning Lead, PBPs, and FBPs to manage workforce plans, both for the PBP team and also for Product/VAS/CMS
  • Supporting activities related to integration of teams and processes for acquisitions into Product/VAS/CMS

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

 Basic Qualifications
- 6 years of experience and bachelor’s degree; or 4 years of experience and master’s degree; or 2 years of experience and PhD; or 10 years of experience with some college courses
- Analytical rigor and facility with HR reporting tools, Workday, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; including good numerical and analytical skills

 Preferred Qualifications
- 8 or more years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree or 6 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 4 years of work experience with a PhD
- Progressively responsible experience in HR with exposure to an innovative, fast-paced business, one that continues to reinvent their business proposition
- Experience working in complex organizations (matrix, cross cultural, cross geographical)
- Experience managing small to medium sized projects/initiatives with minimal supervision
- Management consulting, PMO background a plus exhibiting advance planning, and problem-solving skills
- Hold high standards of client service and works closely to establish credibility with clients
- Ability to balance employer and employee advocacy
- Outstanding verbal and written communication as well as relationship building skills; flexing style accordingly
