Substitute Instructional Assistant

Instructional Assistant Substitutes Needed
Hourly Rate: $19.61/hr. 

Education/Certification

1. High School Diploma or GED Equivalent, and
2. Meet one of the requirements below:
   1. Have completed at least two (2) years of postsecondary study;
   2. Possess an associates degree or higher;
   3. Meet a rigorous standard of quality as demonstrated through a State or local assessment; or
   4. “ParaEducator Credential of Competency” as issued by PDE     

Qualifications:  Experience working in an educational setting, preferred.

All candidates are required to submit four clearances prior to employment.  They include:
1.  Criminal Background Check (Act 34)
2.  Child Abuse Clearance  (Act 151)
3.  FBI Criminal History Record (FBI)
4.  Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release (Act 168)
