Job Description – Insights & Reporting Analyst

The Insights & Reporting Analyst role is responsible for supporting or leading very complex reporting projects that gather and integrate large volumes of data, perform deep analysis, interpret analysis results, and finally develop & present actionable insights and recommendations to cross-functional senior and executive leadership.

The analyst will:

• Identify & acquire/export data from multiple data sources in order to perform the required analysis and reporting
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data in order to provide answers to business questions as well as provide recommendations for action.
• Present data analysis in a simple, clear, and concise manner using meaningful visualizations which allow target audience to quickly understand the results and recommendations to make data driven decisions.
• Collaborate/partner with various teams to provide a holistic view of the analysis.
• Measure and monitor results of previously applied recommendations and present adjustments.
• Manage assigned projects proactively and with limited oversight while ensuring validity and accuracy of data & data interpretation.
• Ensures all data acquisition, sharing and results of applied recommendations are compliant with company standards.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
• Six to eight years of data analysis experience with large data sets

Experience should include:

• Strong ability to work in SQL and PowerBI tool for querying data, data manipulation/transformation, and create automations to refresh data source exports.
• ALWAYS seek innovation! Leverage new automation technologies (e.g., AI) to accelerate delivery of data analysis.
• Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills is an IMPERATIVE to work successfully across business functions and with technology and business line leadership.
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint to create visually compelling reports & representations.
• Experience in financial services, with thorough knowledge of HR systems or financial services products, customers, transactions and interaction data, ideally in Workday, ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, and Sharepoint.
• Excellent analytic skills with the ability to extract, collect, organize, analyze, and interpret results for actionable insights.
• Experience or training in AI to enhance, accelerate, and revolutionize data analytics processes.
• Ability to data mine, analyze, and present insights in a simple but compelling way.
• Ability to develop and maintain strategic partnership with Senior Business unit management, business partners, and project sponsors, as well as communicate effectively with business, and development teams, end users, and product owners.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organization and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and achieve committed delivery dates.
• Flexibility to effectively manage deliverable with short deadlines and changing requirements & priorities.

***The role offers a hybrid / flexible schedule, which means there's an in office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.***
