Senior Product Lawyer - Ostrum

<p>You participate in creating the Ostrum AM Product Legal Department within the General Secretariat as a senior product financial lawyer. The Legal Department designs and produces regulatory and contractual documentation related to the life of UCITS, AIFs (Alternative Investment Funds) and management mandates with the objective of ensuring the legal security of Ostrum AM and its clients and their best interests.</p> <p>On a daily basis, your job is to:</p> <ul> <li>Create, modify, monitor and, if necessary, close/terminate collective investment undertakings ( UCI ), whether they are UCITS or AIFs open for marketing or dedicated and management mandates under French law and to a lesser extent under international law: drafting of DICI, prospectus (including SFDR appendices) and regulations, development of investment policies in collaboration with product specialists and managers;</li> <li>Participate in the development and negotiation of contracts related to these investments: management agreements, advisory agreement, financial management delegations, contracts with the fund’s main suppliers (depositary and CAC in particular), draw up standard contracts and ensure that they are updated;</li> <li>Support the business lines in their response to tenders and supervise a junior product financial lawyer. ;</li> <li>Interact with the other departments of Ostrum AM, the supervisory authorities, the depositary, the valuers, the CAC, the management companies that have delegated to Ostrum AM the financial management of the UCIs it manages;</li> <li>Propose and implement applicable legal documentation as required;</li> <li>Ensure awareness and training of internal teams on legal and regulatory issues related to UCIs and management mandates and their environment.</li> </ul> <p>As a Senior Financial Product Lawyer, you work closely with all of Ostrum AM’s businesses, particularly the Management, Development and Risk departments, Compliance and Permanent Controls, as well as, where necessary, law firms.</p> <p>You work in an international environment, in a community of experts that puts excellence, impact and collective action at the heart of everything it does.   </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>#TransformativeFinance</strong></p> <p>This position is based in Paris with the ability to work remotely.</p> <p>As a Top Employer, we put our people first.
