Senior Tax Analyst

• Assisting clients with their financial tax statements
• Responsible for overseeing various tax regulatory requirements for life and annuity insurance products. 
• Preparing and submitting tax forms.
• Prepare quarterly, annual, and monthly withholding reconciliation
• File state withholding tax returns
• Work with IRS and state agencies to resolve issues or address penalties.
• Developing operational policies and controls to ensure tax reporting compliance 
• Oversee and monitor operating guidelines of third party administrators with regards to policyholder tax administration and reporting.
• Make federal and state withholding deposits. 
• Handle various tax projects.
• Prepare and Assist with reconciliation of tax accounts.
• Assist with various state,and federal tax audits
• Adhere to Life and Annuity Tax regulatory guidelines. 

Essential Functions Below outlines the main areas of transaction processing responsibility:

Assisting clients with Operational Tax reporting. 

Preparing payments and analyzing tax issues.

Qualifications:

Life  and Annuity insurance industry knowledge

Good communication skills

Knowledge of  MS office including Excel

Knowledge of accounting software package

Multiple years of experience working with life and Annuity insurance products, financial statements, tax returns and tax issues.
