We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Senior User Experience Designer to join our Loans Enablement platform. This role is located in New York, NY and will be working in a hybrid capacity. (3 days a week in the office).
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- This is a mid-level opportunity with a high degree of autonomy. You are an individual contributor who is strong in Figma. You know when and where to use different design system components and work efficiently to design and build prototypes of various complexity. They are involved in planning, mapping out flows, journeys, and discovering research opportunities. You are excited by the collaborative opportunities within design systems and component libraries – and look to master your craft
- Works on and manages range of project sizes, balancing time as appropriate. Comes up with multiple solutions to solve various problems.
- Takes initiative on driving the work forward, keeps communication lines open and knows when to escalate. Anticipates problems and proactively solutions around them.
- Is an effective and strong communicator. Develops cross-functional relationships.
- Thinks strategically across problem sets and applies solutions as appropriate.
- Strong independent contributor; requires minimal direction on routine work and general direction on new projects. Requires minimal supervision on day-to-day tasks.
- Delivers thoughtful and polished work with great attention to detail that solves user and business needs. Able to identify inconsistencies in user journeys. Promotes best practices, design system guidance and production of high-quality deliverables.
- Advocates across function to drive accountability, realign priorities when appropriate, and proactively find opportunities to contribute new solutions when needed.
- User experience, design, human computer interaction or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required
- Experience and passion for design systems and component libraries – creation, maintenance, and governance. You get excited by increasing efficiency and collaboration
- Service design – creating internal tools for established users
- Advanced Figma skills such as component creation, prototyping, auto layout
- stakeholder management with both technical and non technical individuals – ability to convey ideas in a professional manner
- Experience working for international companies preferrable
